The second annual Vintage Fair event in August 2012 (4th - 29th) aims to inspire designers to work within new parameters, the themes of vintage, antique and retro fashions (Pre 1980) and to explore brands that already specialise in these genres.
This event is NOT for charity, all profit made by a brand is kept by the designers. This is a pure shopping event. This event will contain approximately 260 brands spread over 3 sims built by Cory Edo (Trompe Loeil) in a vintage inspired theme. Last year we asked designers to create items within the strict definition of Vintage (1920s - 1980s) however this year we are also allowing what is defined as Antique fashions because so many brands were keen to explore things that dated before the 20s! The 80s is still the final cut off point however, and nothing contemporary should be sold at the venue. Each store will bring 2 or 3 new products minimum.
